Thanks very much for your interest in helping out at the festival. We are always in need of enthusiastic volunteers, so please feel free to tell your friends and family about this opportunity. For over two decades the volunteers have been at the heart of making this event hugely successful, so if you are a returning volunteer, we warmly greet you, and if you are new, we welcome you with open arms.
This year the Festival will take place on Sunday September 30th from 11:30am to 6pm. All volunteers are asked to work 2 shifts one ether in the morning (before the start of the festival) to help with set up or in the evening helping with clean-up and one during the festival. We want to be as accommodating as possible to your free time so please let us now of any constraints
Fort Tryon Park is located in upper Manhatten and the easiest way to get there is via public transportation. Take the A train to 190th Street then take the elevator up, and the entrance to the park will be on your right across the traffic circle as you exit the station. Please plan appropriately for timing and train delays.
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with Maria Bassallo or call her at 212-795-1600.
Please read and let us know what would be the best for you in your email.
